Oh, thank you! I was a little unsure about it.

Loved how you seamlessly blended the phenomena of "time slips" and "apparitions of the living." This was a great story! Ending had me choked up.

So glad you were able to follow the time slips!

I loved the blend of apparitions and time travel! I also appreciate how the ending seems like a "happy ending," while also facing the jarring fact that the man who ruined your childhood got a second chance.

Thanks! I really wanted to lean into the idea of cycles and ask the question if there really is such a thing as closure.

I saw this was going to be a half hour read … I dithered but I am so glad I read this! The pain of seeing her dad at the end though. 😭😭

I saw how long the story was and almost decided not to read it, but then I started and couldn't stop. And am so glad I didn't. This was both hauntingly beautiful and beautifully haunting. It got me deep in the heart. A real ghost story.

Masterfully done.

Thank you so much. I'm glad you didn't let the length scare you off!

This is amazing, and I love where you chose to end it. I think a lot of writers would have continued the story for a few more paragraphs, but leaving it where you did was perfect!

I really appreciate that!

Oh my gosh, Ellie was so brave to go back to that house, and thank goodness Mrs. Harmony was a night owl. That gave me a good giggle.

I know it’s going to eat Ellie up knowing her dad got clean for another family. I can’t blame her for going to find him and looking for answers.

I felt so sad for little Ellie, though. I honestly thought her mom had done that to herself, and I’m sure Ellie thought the same. I’m glad she got some closure on that, at least.

I was convinced the Green Lady was going to turn out to be a villain in some way, but that’s probably because I watch too many horror movies. 😅

The twists were thoughtfully planned, and I genuinely had no idea what was coming next.

Awesome read!.... PS. Is this type of comment allowed? It's not giving to much away? I can edit it if you want me to. 😅
